I know what it’s like to feel as though you’re doing everything you’re supposed to do and still wonder why fat loss feels so difficult.
After losing over 18kg, I wanted to understand more about hunger, nutrition and what makes an approach sustainable.
One of the biggest changes in my approach was paying attention to how my meals affected my hunger and satisfaction, rather than judging them only by their calorie count. Understanding more about the body’s signals helped me make sense of those experiences - and build a routine I could maintain.
Today, I’m a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach. I draw on my professional education, personal experience and private coaching work to make those ideas easier to put into practice for every new client.
I created the Reset to give you a clear place to start: practical meals, manageable movement and a routine you can build on.
What my 1:1 coaching clients say
These experiences relate to my personalised coaching, rather than the seven-day Reset. The Reset is a self-paced starting plan and does not include individual coaching calls.
She'd had three spinal surgeries, both knees replaced, chronic pain and a heart condition. At her worst, she could barely walk for five minutes. And she was still hearing, "Eat less. Move more."Start my 7-Day Reset →
I struggled for over 30 years to lose weight - I was a serial Weight Watchers follower. But after trying Kim's simple guidelines I went from 94kg to 74kg without counting a single calorie. I also had pre-diabetes, which is now reversed. And all of this was achievable without working out, because I struggle with chronic back and knee pain from past surgeries.
I followed Kim's guidelines and dropped over 8kg in 3 months while building heaps of muscle in the gym at the same time. I feel fitter than I ever have, and I've been enjoying the change in diet a lot more than I thought I would. Now she's helping me on a bulk to keep building at the gym.
I lost 3kg in my first 6 weeks following Kim's plan without even giving up my simple pleasures like alcohol. I no longer have pain in my feet from type 2 diabetes, and my blood sugar has dropped from 13 down to 7 - so I'm well on my way to reversing it. I went from only being able to walk for 4 minutes to now walking 2.5km, and I've picked up bike riding again. I'm in my early 70s and I feel better than I did in my 50s!
My partner and I were in a real rut, and nothing seemed to be working until we found Kim's Metabolic Method. It stripped everything back to basics and helped us understand the science behind why the stubborn fat wasn't shifting. I'm currently breastfeeding, so I was worried I'd have to follow a really strict plan - but Kim made a few small, manageable adjustments that worked for my situation. The weekly one-on-one calls have been one of the most valuable parts of the program - having someone in your corner to keep you accountable has made such a difference.

Your food does more than fill you up. It influences the signals involved in hunger, fullness, fat loss, and weight gain.
Insulin and glucagon help regulate fuel availability. Ghrelin and leptin are involved in appetite regulation. Understanding these signals helps explain why meal quality matters when you’re trying to lose weight, especially if smaller portions keep leaving you hungry.
Insulin helps your body use and store nutrients after eating. It also reduces the release of stored fat while elevated.
The practical takeaway: look at how you build your meals, rather than judging them only by their calorie count.
Glucagon helps your liver release glucose when your body needs it, including between meals. It works alongside insulin to help regulate blood sugar — it isn’t simply a “fat-burning switch”.
Ghrelin helps stimulate hunger and generally falls after eating. Meal composition can influence how hunger returns, which is one reason a smaller meal may not keep you satisfied.
Leptin is produced mainly by fat tissue and helps communicate your energy reserves to the brain. It’s part of a wider appetite-regulation system, rather than something you switch on with one particular food.
You don’t need to memorise the hormones. My plan already uses protocols that signal each of these hormones to unlock fat and provide longer lasting energy and fullness.
The Reset helps you put meal quality and practical habits into action during your first week.
The full Metabolic Method takes you further, with week-by-week progression, deeper education and strategies for plateaus and maintenance.
You can use the Reset on its own. If you choose to continue, the entire $37 you paid is credited toward the full $228 Method, so you only pay $191 AUD to upgrade.

Do I need to count calories?
No. The Reset focuses on meal structure, food quality, hunger, movement and practical habits rather than requiring you to meticulously track every calorie.
Is this about calories or hormones?
Both matter. Your body needs energy, and hormones help regulate appetite and how that energy is used and stored. The Reset focuses on meal quality and practical habits, so you can apply the approach without being required to count every calorie.
Do I need to follow a strict meal plan?
No. I'll give you a framework you can adapt to foods you actually enjoy.
Do I need a gym membership?
No. You can adapt the movement principles to your current circumstances.
What should I expect after seven days?
The Reset is designed to help you understand the approach and practise it. You’ll have a meal-building framework, practical recipes and movement guidance you can continue using. Changes in hunger, energy and weight vary between individuals.
Do I need to buy the full Method afterwards?
No. You can use what you learn in the Reset without upgrading. The full Method is available if you want the complete six-week framework.
Does this include personalised coaching?
No. This is a self-paced educational product. Individual coaching calls and personalised advice are available through my separate 1:1 coaching offer.
You don’t need another week of eating as little as possible and hoping it works.
Start learning how to build satisfying meals and a manageable routine that supports your weight-loss goals — without counting every calorie.
For $37 AUD, get your seven-day starting plan and practical tools to keep using afterwards. If you choose to continue with the full Metabolic Method, your entire $37 is credited toward the $228 price, so you only pay $191 AUD to upgrade.

I'm not a doctor, and everything here is what worked for me and what I teach my clients - not personal medical advice. If you're on medication for blood sugar or your thyroid, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any history of disordered eating, please talk to your GP first and don't treat anything on this page as a rule you have to follow. The Reset is a self-paced educational program, so it can't take your bloods, cycle or medical history into account. For personalised advice, speak with your GP or book 1:1 coaching.
